Ehrhardt font

The name of Ehrhardt font indicates that it is resulting from the Italic & Roman typefaces with Dutch character that Ehrhardt foundry in Leipzig showed in a late17th century sample book. The designer is unidentified though some historians consider it was the work of Hungarian Nicholas Kis. Monotype publishes this type face in 1937 to 1938. It has a clean promptness & smooth finishing that support readability also a minute degree of concentration particularly in the Italic which conserves breathing space. It is perfect for any text face mainly for books. Wolfgang D. Ehrhardt updated this type face in 2007.
