Background: Letter Gothic is based on Adobe font family with 4 styles. Each style is unique and elegant in its own way. This particular font design is owned by IBM. It is ideally suited for headline text for journals and magazines. It is also used in newspapers as well. Designed between the year 1956-62 , this has become widely accepted in corporate fields. With its clear legible character spacing, users find it very easy to understand and comprehend easily. The characters in this font type is mono spaced so that it gives an elegant style and a corporate look and feel. This font was first designed to be used on an IBM Selectric typewriter.
