Linotype Henri Axsis like Linotype Henri Dimensions experiments with 3 dimensional contacts. Both typefaces are the design of former German type designer Stefan Pott & correspond to an effort to understand written type script in a new way. The figures of both type faces reach out from the page & provide the plane surface a sense of depth & liveliness. It is much more constructed & at the same time more fragile as its partner font. Its distinctiveness becomes obvious when seen as the density of many characters & associations like a net or a web. It was released in 1999.
