Tiemann font
Tiemann was first designed by Walter Tiemann in 1923 and appeared with the Klingspor font foundry. It is among the leading modern book typefaces created in the first half of 20th century but it differs from most of its Modern Face counterparts. It displays strong strokes contrasted with flat serifs but its proportions are a bit similar to that of neorenaissance fonts. The font is extremely useful for newspaper and magazines due to the font's classic yet unusual appearance. The Tiemann font is a hallmark of Linotype GmbH which might be registered under certain jurisdictions.
