Tschichold font

The Tschichold font was created jointly by Jan Tschichold and Thierry Puyfoulhoux. The first photo-typesetting machine in operation, Uhertype was introduced in 1925. It was a combination of manual photo typesetting machine and make-up machine. The machine’s typefaces were designed by Jan Tschichold. Jan Tschichold was extremely influenced by Gill Sans for The humanistic sans serif. The design of The font is owned by Presence Typo.
