Background: The Avenir typeface is attributed as clean, distinct, graceful, geometric and legible. In the year 1988, Adrian Frutiger has created the Avenir font. The most common of this font is Avenir� and is derived from the Linotype font family. The Avenir has twelve distinctive styles. In French the word Avenir means �future�. Avenir cannot be said as purely geometric. The characters of this font have vertical strokes, which are thicker than the horizontals. It is suitable for both headlines and texts.
