The Trade Gothic font family

The first cuts of Trade Gothic were designed by Jackson Berke in 1948. Trade Gothic doesn't display the typical unifying family structure as most of the popular sans serif fonts have. The dissonance adds a bit of earthy naturalism to the font. The font is used very much for commercial purposes because of its legible pattern. The Trade Gothic is a hallmark of Linotype GmbH which may be registered under certain jurisdictions.
Designed 1948 by Jackson Burke.
