The Chaparral Pro font family

Chaparral is a very versatile font type. It was designed by the Designer Carol Twombly in 2000. It is a combination of legibility of slab serif designs popularized in the 19th century with the grace of 16th century roman book lettering. Chaparral has varying letter proportions that give it an accessible and it has a friendly appearance in all weights from light to bold with varying letter proportions. It has a multiple master typeface with an optical axis (ranging from 7 to 72 points), Chaparral is a clear and legible font type in smaller text settings. It is subtle and lively at display sizes. It is mainly used for book, poster and newsletter design.
